There may be a few friends out there who have not checked this blog in a while. As you may or may not know I've moved to South America. I started a new blog, but it was too public, with too many people from my new city reading it. So I all but took it down, as well as removing any links to the new blog that were on this blog.
I will be begining a new blog in the next few days, which will be an invite only type thing. If I know you and I have your email address you'll be getting the link. If for some reason I don't have your address, leave a comment telling me who you are and I'll try to get you the new secret blog address.

Hi. I came across your blog, and started reading it out of curiosity, which quickly turned to guilt. You see, I am Egyptian, and the fact that some A*Hole decided to set off a bomb somewhere and injure innocent people like you for no justifiable reason, drives me so crazy...and makes me ashamed! I feel a lot of guilt that you and your family got injured, a lot of frustration that my country's reputation is being tarnished and I can't do much about it, and a lot of concern for you and others who were hurt...
Anyway, I would love to keep receiving your news for all the above reasons..

Hi Tom....I've been reading your blogs for a couple of years after a friend from the Cairo Hash turned me onto it. It's been a trip following yours and Betsy's lives and your eloquent way of writing has given me lots of chuckles as well as many "oh no"s. I have been checking into this site since it first posted, back after the incident. I have never met Tom, but I am a long time friend of the Lambersons, and saw Brooke, Betsy and Ben grow up while working at Mountain Sports in Casper for many years. We moved away from Wyoming in 1990, but still return to visit our kids in Casper at least yearly. I did visit with Bruce last year and get to see the devestating results of his injuries, got to see Brooke, but I missed Betsy. I hope this site stays up, so that I can check in occasionally and follow the adventures, trials & tribulations of the "expats". Best wishes, Ron Gibson, Los Angeles
